It is a calm and peaceful retreat, reminding us of the stone house in the hill country that Evalina made home. Evalina was born in the early 1900’s. She was a devoted wife and mother, as well as her grandchildren’s favorite. Her strong sense of family and history made her home a welcome haven. Her sister Tessie was an ever present friend for all of her years. The adjoining room is aptly named for her. Bound by the unbreakable bond of sisterhood, these two Texas sisters never lived more than a few miles from each other for all of their hundred plus years. The small town fostered close family ties and a strong sense of community. Enjoy the back lawn, a small terrace patio, and direct access to wooded trails by the use of your private patio door. An adjoining sitting room makes a lovely semi-private space to relax. Or, reserve this room with Tessie’s Room for a large private three room suite. Amenities: • King bed with Premium Mattress Evalina’s room may be configured to accommodate 3 persons by adding a twin bed for an additional fee. Evalina and Tessie’s rooms may both be booked together to include the private use of the adjoining sitting room. This three room suite can accommodate up to 6 people by converting the loveseats into twin beds made up with memory foam type mattresses, blankets, quilts and pillows for a comfortable stay. There is an additional fee for the extra occupancy. |
