Virginia’s Room |
|
This room decorated in roses, New York’s state flower, is one of our largest and most popular rooms. The subtle Victorian farmhouse flavor of the room reflects the life of a woman who was an acquaintance of the Wright Brothers and Norman Rockwell. Born in upper state New York on the first day of spring in the late 1800’s, the little preemie was placed in a shoebox behind the wood burning stove. Thus began Virginia’s life of great adventure that lasted over ninety years. This special haven invites you to relax in its king size bed and cozy sitting area. The large private bath features double vanities and a large walk in shower. As with all rooms throughout the main Inn, Virginia’s room is accessible by stairs or our elevator. Amenities: • King bed with Premium Mattress Virginia’s room may be configured to accommodate 3 or 4 persons by adding one or two twin beds for an additional fee. |
