The ever hardy Cherokee rose, state flower of Georgia, adorns the room of this strong woman who brought grace and charm to every facet of life. The décor here is reminiscent of a rural Georgia farmhouse and accented with cheery red furniture.

Frances was born in the late 1800’s and she married the son of a Civil War soldier. She lived through the Great Depression, two World Wars and lived near the Little White House, close enough to personally witness President Roosevelt’s personal struggles. In a life filled with great personal struggles, Frances busied everyday assisting neighbors, her doctor brother, embroidering a counterpane for extra income or operating the country store.

You will enjoy the rest of a day well spent by viewing a glorious sunset and relaxing in this spacious room. Slip into your king size bed covered with a patriotic red, white and blue quilt. A private bath features double vanities and a large walk in shower.
